www.marieHALLAGERandersen.weebly.com She has through her diverse work with movement developed a broad interest in the body in the context of dance improvisation and filmmaking. Her work spans from solo work when she pursues her own interest in dance-for-screen work to collaboration with other artists and academics in her dance practice. Marie is co-founder of the perfromance collective Mathilde and the Improvisation Exchange Leeds and she collaborates with academics from University of Leeds and the University of Aarhus in Denmark. Her passion is to make the creative process more transparent and invite audiences and viewers to see and take part in art in the making. She makes work about her experience of the world as a woman and a mother and hopes her work is honest and insightful and with a touch of humour. Marie is also certified Life Coach and facilitator of the Liz Lerman Critical Response Process. After having been based in Leeds, England for 15 years she moved to Horsens, Denmark in October 2017 where she lives with her Irish partner and their two daughters. |
